TORQUE ARMORED HOODIE

I am 5' 9" tall and weigh 193 lbs. I wear a size 34x32 in Levi's. I ordered the Torque Armored Hoodie in size large, which generally fits me well, though the waist is a little snug. It's not snug enough to be a return issue, but If your waist is larger than 34, it probably will be. Also, the hood itself I find to be heavier than I'd like, though again, not a return issue. Lastly, this hoodie would be too hot for me to wear above 80 degrees on a sunny day (it's black). I'd like to see a mesh version of this product. I'd buy it! All of that said, I love it. I feel very safe wearing it. The armor sits exactly where it should and the Aramid/Kevlar lining looks to be solid (hopefully, I'll never need it). Love the zip close pockets. Very nice touch. Over the years, I have learned the value of purpose built motorcycle gear from head to toe, though I'm not always excited to wear it. When I'm riding, I forget that I'm not wearing a regular cotton hoodie. It's that comfortable. Paired with a full face helmet, riding jeans, riding boots and gloves, this hoodie provides a high level of protection.

Jacket is overall a great piece of riding gear, the armor inserts and jacket itself are a good weight and I don’t feel weighed down on short or long rides. The fabric does lose it black color pretty fast due to being out in the sun and other common factors but that’s not an issue to me. The one pet peeve I do have about the jacket and I hope is fixed down the road is the front pockets sizes. In the video MK87 shot and pictures I seen the pockets looked a lot bigger than they actually are. Maybe it’s just me but it didn't live up to my expectations although it does get the job done. Hopefully in future designs the pockets are addressed to be a bit bigger, the zippers though are amazing for holding personal item. Overall I love the jacket and it’ll be a part of my gear for the long hall! Ride on.

Great product easy exchange process and they always kept me in the loop. Had a chance to meet the owner at the torque warehouse event and it was great to see the passion he has in what he does. Look forward to seeing his future merchandise that he will be rolling out.

This hoodie is perfect. The zipper up is so much better than a pullover. It fits great, a little snug, if on the fence between sizes go up. It looks standard but has the armor and zip up pockets, and the neck part goes up high so you can zip it to your chin. As an added bonus, i met the owner and he is a really cool guy, so I'm happy to support the business. I highly recommend it!
